Game Recap
The Lady Minutemen played an amazing 80 minutes against Village Christian tonight in a tribute to their seniors at their last home game of the season. The first goal started off with a penalty kick that was scored by Senior #9 Katy Coats in the 10th minute. Following her was teammate Senior #5 Andrea Gamez who scored Maranatha’s second goal in the 15th minute. Only two minutes later, Gamez assisted Senior #6 Kin Spencer who put one in the back of the net as well. Finally, to round out the goals for the night and secure the win, Spencer sent a beautiful cross for Coats to put past the keeper in the 39th minute. The second half remained 4-0 for the rest of the game while the girls put together solid passing progressions without having pressure to score which made for a fun environment for the seniors especially at their final home game. The girls are awaiting their notification for their first-round CIF game which will take place sometime next week.
