Meet Recap

The Minutemen improve to 1-1 on the season with the win today vs FP. There is a lot to be proud of, like an improved team score from the last match at Arcadia, 3 guys shooting in the 30’s today (Leland Oliver, Kaili Chui, Nicholas Chavez) on 9 holes, one freshman (Jacob ‘Jake’ Kefalas carding his season low 45 and qualifying for his first high school match next Thursday, and of course getting the win. Flintridge is a good team and has improved under the leadership of veteran coach Bob Loughrie, the low score of the day for them came from Ben Sacks. Coach Ault said after the win, that he “was very proud of the leadership of the Seniors today, they lead the way in scoring, providing the underclassmen with an example of what the Minutemen Mentality is all about. Up next for the Minutemen is La Salle on Thursday at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena.
