The Lady Minutemen improved their overall record to 14-10 and 4-3 in league to move up to second place in the Olympic League while securing their first playoff spot in two years. Sophomore guard, Patil Yaacoubian scored a game high 24 points to go with seven rebounds while Freshman forward, Taliana Marganian scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds off the bench in impressive fashion. Freshman guard, Emily Jordan scored 11 points to go with four assists and three steals while senior point guard Cherise Masuda dished out six assists to go with her eight steals and five points. Mireille Minassian continued her sensational rebounding off the bench as she led the team with nine rebounds to go with four points. Erica De Guzman added five points while Macy Asaoka chipped in three points. The Lady Minutemen will play their final league game on the road at Village Christian Thursday at 5:30 before awaiting the CIF playoff tournament brackets Sunday afternoon. Congratulations Lady Minutemen, you’ve turned an 8-18 overall record and 0-8 league record from last year into an outstanding season with more to come!
