In her final game for Maranatha High, senior point guard, Cherise Masuda scored 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds, had four assists to go with six steals in an effort that fell just a little short but the Lady Minutemen experience a great season. Sophomore sensation Patil Yaacoubian lead the team in scoring with 24 points while grabbing eight rebounds to go with five steals. Freshman guard, Emily Jordan scored in double figures for the ninth consecutive time with 10 points to go with five rebounds. Freshman forward Taliana Marganian was a power on the boards as she came off the bench to grab nine rebounds.
The Lady Minutemen finished their season with an impressive 16-12 record after finishing 8-18 last season. With only one senior leaving the future looks bright for the Lady Minutemen but Coach Smalley said Cherise Masuda was a towering strength for the team and her leadership qualities were exceptional.
