Junior guard, Patil Yaacoubian scored 16 points to lead all scores while snatching four steals. Sophomore guard, Emily Jordan knocked down five threes in route to 15 points and six assists while Junior guard, Merci Turner chipped in another double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward, Mia Chang added five points and six rebounds while Junior guard, Macy Asaoka came off the bench to spark the team with five points and helping the Lady Minutemen to an important league victory, placing them in a second place tie in the Olympic League standings. It was Coach Smalley’s 96th career victory as a head coach and improved the CIFSS 4AA 5th ranked Lady Minutemen to 14-5 overall and 2-2 in league play. The Lady Minutemen will face league rival, Village Christian on Friday at home with a 5:30 PM Tip-off.
